States consider an Iranian strike on Israel inevitable - Bloomberg

Iran will surely strike Israel in response to the shelling of its consulate in Syria.

As Ukrinform reports, Bloomberg writes about this with reference to its own sources informed by intelligence data.

"The US and its allies are convinced that a large-scale strike by Iran or its supporters using drones or missiles against Israeli military and government targets is inevitable," the article says.

It is noted that Iran is likely to use high-precision missiles to strike Israeli targets in the coming days. "Based on US and Israeli intelligence, it's a matter of when it will happen, not if it will happen," Bloomberg notes.

Israeli government and military facilities are expected to be affected, but not civilians. "US officials assist Israel in planning and share intelligence assessments," the agency notes.

Several diplomatic missions in Israel are currently preparing to evacuate, but none have immediate plans to do so.

As reported, Iranian officials issued threats against Israel after the April 1 airstrike on the Iranian consulate in Syria, which killed military commanders and officials. In particular, the general of the Iranian Al-Quds forces in Syria, Muhammad Reza Zahedi, was eliminated at that time.
