In Orsk, disgruntled Russians are rioting because of the government's inaction after the dam burst.
On April 5, a dam on the Ural River burst in the city of Orsk, Orenburg Region of the Russian Federation. The very next day - April 6 - another breakthrough occurred in Orsk. The situation is worsening there - the water level has risen to almost 9.7 meters, many other settlements on the banks of the Urals have been flooded, reports UAINFO.org with reference to TSN.
Local residents begin to express their dissatisfaction with the actions of the authorities and even threaten to secede from Russia. The video from Orsk and the region was shared by the Russian public.
"There is no water!.. When Crimea was "annexed" (annexed - ed.), the water pipeline was fucked, blah*. But we don't have it... Do we need to disconnect? Let's disconnect now," said one of the protesters under the building city administration.
At the same time, Russians are afraid to leave the affected areas because of looters who pretend to be "rescuers" and "volunteers".
People were also outraged by the fact that the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation Oleksandr Kurenkov personally took part in the "rescue operation". After all, he just floated through the flooded streets of Orsk on a huge amphibian.
"I wish Putin would be caught here!" commented one of the Russian women.
