The city of Damascus in Syria today, April 1, came under rocket fire. The Iranian consulate was hit. IRGC General Mohammad Zahedi could have died there.
It is noted that the consulate building was destroyed as a result of an air strike. The media write that Israel is involved in this strike.
A Lebanese security source told Reuters that one of the dead was Mohammad Reza Zahedi. He was a senior commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
And Iranian state television reported that several Iranian diplomats were allegedly killed.
