What we eat has an important effect on the whole body. It is because of nutrition that diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, metabolic disorders, diabetes, not to mention obesity can occur. Premature aging is also partly related to diet. And also - with bad habits, level of physical activity, existing diseases, genetics and other factors.


What food is not suitable for maintaining youth and health? Any products made in a factory way by processing ingredients are considered to accelerate aging. If you cannot do without such products, there is a trick that will help reduce their harm - choose those with no more than five additives (dyes, flavors, thickeners and preservatives) to the main composition. Also take into account the ingredients themselves - for example, the presence of soy protein in a sausage does it no honor.


Implied? These are semi-finished products, meat and fish products, many canned goods, sweet breakfasts, some dairy products and pastries. You should also not expect anything good from sweet carbonated water, ready-made meals, candies, cakes and other similar products.


The fact is that their nutritional value is very low - a small amount of vitamins, minerals, protein and healthy fats, but, most often, a lot of dubious additives, fast carbohydrates and fat.


Of course, even among such products you can choose acceptable ones. There are also manufacturers focused on healthy food.


To maintain health and prolong youth, you need to include more fresh fruits and vegetables, fish, and natural unrefined oils, such as olive or linseed, in the menu. The amount of sugar and trans fats should be reduced as much as possible.
