Putin admitted that the terrorist attack in the Moscow region was carried out by Islamists, but remembered Ukraine

Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin admitted that the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall on March 22 was carried out by “radical Islamists,” but blamed the shooting on “those fighting with Russia at the hands of the Kyiv regime.”

UP writes about this with reference to Russian media.

Putin called the attack an “action of intimidation” and again linked the attack to Ukraine. He stated that the terrorist attack in Crocus was carried out by radical Islamists, but he was interested in the mastermind.

“The question immediately arises of who benefits from this. This can only be a link for those who have been fighting us with the hands of the Kyiv regime since 2014.”

He also added that “the question must be answered” why the attackers allegedly tried to leave for Ukraine after committing the crime in Crocus, “and who was waiting for them there.”

Let us recall that the coordinator for strategic communications of the National Security Council of the White House, John Kirby, called Russia’s assertion that the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert hall in the Moscow region is connected with Ukraine as Kremlin propaganda.
