AN EXPLOSION rang out in SAINT-PETERSBURG: A DRONE ATTACKED A RESIDENTIAL BUILDING

 An explosion rang out in the Russian city of St. Petersburg on the morning of Saturday, March 2. As it turned out, it was a drone attack. Debris of drones fell on a residential high-rise building.

This is reported by the Russian mass media and Telegram channels. The incident with the house was also confirmed by the governor of St. Petersburg, Oleksandr Beglov.

It is noted that the explosion occurred at Piskarevsky prospect, 161. RosZMI writes that the target of the attack could have been the thermal power plant or the Ruchy oil depot, which is located in the area.

Local residents emphasize that they heard the sound of a motor in the sky, after which they saw a bright flash and heard an explosion. Windows in two houses were partially broken. Residents of the affected apartments were evacuated. There are no injured people.
