Journalists had at their disposal documents of two people allegedly involved in the terrorist attack in Krasnogorsk near Moscow. One of them was killed and the second was detained during an operation in the Bryansk region. The security forces eliminated another attacker in the Crocus City Hall auditorium.
This was reported by the BBC Russian Service.
The publication refers to information received from an anonymous source familiar with the progress of the operation to search for terrorists. He claims that in the Bryansk region, security forces stopped a white Renault car in which two alleged participants in the attack were traveling. A video of the interrogation of one of them was distributed today by Russian security forces.
The second person who was killed during detention turned out to be a 30-year-old citizen of Tajikistan.
"We know the man's name, but we are not publishing it until we are sure his family knows he has died," the statement said.
It is known about the murdered man that his passport was issued to him by the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the city of Vakhdat, which is located not far from the capital of Tajikistan, Dushanbe. This man has had problems with the law in Russia in the past. Six years ago, the Podolsk city court fined him for violating migration rules and ordered him to leave the territory of the Russian Federation.
The detained suspect is also a citizen of Tajikistan. According to a copy of his passport, which journalists reviewed, Shamsidin Fariduni was born on September 17, 1998, and received his valid passport in Tajikistan in 2021.
