During the investigation, it became clear that the 47-year-old priest Samuel Pasillas from the city of Victorville is related to the crime. At most, it turned out that his daughter had a romantic relationship with the victim.

"Detectives managed to establish that the father met with the people he hired and provided them with information about the victim," the police press release said. It is also claimed that the priest paid 40,000 dollars for the bandits' services.

The other day, Pasillas was arrested for organizing an assassination attempt. One of the perpetrators of the crime was also arrested. Bail was set at one million dollars each for the men. The investigation continues.
