The IDF reports on the progress of the ground operation in the Gaza Strip. Most of the fighting is taking place in Khan Yunis. But fighting also continues in the north and center of the sector.
The official report states that on the night of March 3, the IDF Air Force, acting on targets identified by the 98th Division, within six minutes, hit about 50 targets of the terrorist organization Hamas in the west and center of Khan Yunis. Underground infrastructures, buildings used for military purposes, anti-tank firing positions, trap buildings and terrorist gathering places were attacked. Then a large-scale divisional ground attack began. Significant damage was caused and many terrorists were eliminated.
In addition, over the past 24 hours, fighters from the Nahal brigade have eliminated dozens of militants in the central part of the Gaza Strip and discovered weapons. Aviation was used in a number of cases to destroy the enemy.
