Oil prices continue to rise sharply on international markets after attacks on Russian oil refineries, some of which are located deep in the Russian Federation.

According to the latest reports, global benchmark Brent has climbed above $85 a barrel after rising 4% last week, while West Texas Intermediate is trading around $81 a barrel.

Experts also warn that the instability in oil demand forecasts in China and persistent inflation in the US may further complicate the situation on the market.

Recently, Ukrainian UAVs attacked oil refineries in the Russian Federation, as a result of which 12% of the production facilities for oil processing were damaged.
