Do your eyes close during the day, do you feel tired by lunchtime, and in the evening you just fall into bed without strength? It is difficult for you to understand why this happens to the body, when everything around comes to life and blooms, and it gets dark later in the evening. But this is normal spring fatigue, and there is a scientific explanation for it.
Why do we feel tired in the spring, says RBC-Ukraine (Styler project) with reference to Fit for fun, informs UAINFO.org.
Does spring fatigue really exist?
In fact, we are not deceiving ourselves, and we feel a strong weakness at the beginning of spring. Spring fatigue is a confirmed phenomenon that usually occurs at the beginning of a new season.
This phenomenon occurs mainly in latitudes, where different seasons are accompanied by strong changes in temperature and illumination.
The change of winter to spring makes us tired
We humans (like animals) are masters of adaptability. Our metabolism and hormones adapt to the climate. In winter, our body protects itself by lowering the temperature by a few tenths. Blood pressure rises and more of the sleep hormone melatonin is produced.
What happens to the body
All processes in the body take place slowly, and basically, when the body is already used to winter and has calmed down, spring comes.
And this means another change in the body. Metabolism and hormonal balance are completely out of balance. In addition, the level of melatonin decreases slowly. The result can be problems with dizziness and constant fatigue.
What helps in such a period
You must get enough sleep and walk in the fresh air every day to saturate your body with oxygen.
Proper nutrition, the use of vegetables and fruits, and greens are of great importance. And of course - stress reduction. If you feel particularly tired, try to rest a little more so that the body can rebuild itself smoothly.
