The US Embassy in Russia urged Americans not to travel to the Russian Federation after the Crocus City Hall shooting

The Embassy of the United States of America recommends its citizens not to travel to Russia after the shooting at the Crocus City Hall concert hall near Moscow. This is stated on the website of the diplomatic agency.

It noted that the US Embassy in Russia advises US citizens in the country to avoid the areas where the shooting took place and to follow the instructions of local authorities.

"The U.S. government's ability to provide routine or emergency services to U.S. citizens in Russia is severely limited, particularly in areas far from the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, due to Russian government restrictions on travel by U.S. Embassy personnel," the statement said.
