Iran demands US not to interfere in hostilities with Israel - Axios

Iranian authorities warned the United States against interfering in hostilities with Israel. Otherwise, Tehran threatens to attack American soldiers.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Axios.

According to three American sources of the publication, Iran has told several Arab countries that it considers the United States responsible for the attack on the consulate in Damascus.

Iran also conveyed a signal to the administration of US President Joe Biden that if the US military intervened after Iran's attack on Israel, US bases in the region would be attacked.

"The Iranian message was that we will attack the forces that attack us, so don't joke with us and we won't joke with you," the source said.

At the same time, according to the general assessment of American intelligence, cited by Axios, the Iranians can attack American troops only if the United States joins Israel in a counteroffensive.

Axios writes that Israel and the United States believe an Iranian attack would involve launching ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and attack drones from Iran into Israeli territory.
